Totally Serious Debating

Its been a long, hard slog to get to the semi-finals for debating in B-grade. I am so proud, and honoured to be part of this MHS 6 team.

We started off as a team primarily created for fun. As friends, we just wanted to see how far we could get with debating, as we are all intelligent (to a certain degree xDD) and it would improve our public speaking skills.

We never thought we'd get this far.

Mostly, its our lucky draws that have been the key factor, in my eyes, this year. We vs.ed Macrob ONCE in a prepared debate, which we thought we were going to lose, but won. Everyone else was not much competition, to tell the truth.

I know there will be so many people at school who watch us with resentment. We're not the best team, and yet we get so far. In actual fact, I believe that if we got this far, at least 3 other teams should have as well! Sorry guys...I hope we get better so we can be as good as we claim to be ^^"

Thanks to Tom, Kento, Junou, Sachin and to a lesser extent, Kevin. All this moral support and actual support has been so beneficial for us. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.
