I'd like to say I have an interesting life. I think everyone would like to. But it's not always to be, and we have to be content with our lot in life.
So my holidays have consisted of a few times going out catching up with people (and hoping to plan some more), and watching series' like Parks and Recreation. Aubrey Plaza has the best deadpan character in that series. It's amazing.

5/52 week project: roamings in the city of Melbourne
Hello all again!I had a doctors appointment on the last day of January at the RCH, and had a day to kill so I decided to roam the city...alone (makes me sound sad but I really wasn't =P) I went and traveled around different places in the city...here are some of the places =D

Ladies and gentleman, the new and improved Royal Children's Hospital! I've spent nearly half my life at the hospital seeing specialists and getting treatments for the various ailments I have (and getting better!) They've always helped me through this stuff that really fucked over my early social life (LOL) but now I have to move to St. Vincent's hospital (the irony xD). I wish all the best for them in the future.
The new hospital has much more of these awesome open spaces. All the kids were running around having fun in the left picture. I loved hearing them be happy and energetic. Over a bit more (I forgot to take a picture) THERE WERE MEERKATS. so awesome LOL. The right-hand picture seems like either a 1. smoker's area or 2. relaxation place. IT'S AN AWESOME PLACE OF SERENITY LOL

A place that kellen found one night. The store was filled with Swedish designed stuff! It had an array of amazing stuff, but I didn't buy anything due to lack of funds at the time. I actually loved the store!
An art gallery called Outré on Elizabeth street. THATS A WAVE MADE OF BUNNIESSSS dawww. It was a pretty awesome place! I think I have to become more cultured and appreciate art; this is sort of the start of that :)

2/52 WEEK PROJECT - CHINESE RESTAURANT (in hong kong):
In my second week, the parents met up with their university friends in Hong Kong. They haven't seen each other for SO LONG that apparently the last time I saw one of the families was when I was 3. They're all Hong Kong rich now, and all sending their kids down here to Australia to study (Yes they all went to Melbourne universities).
Anyway the place was described as 'traditional Cantonese cooking for Chinese people'. So not the weird Sweet and Sour Pork, or Special Fried Rice, or Mystery Meat Dumpling that you get at one of those dodgy Chinese restaurants that look like they were forgotten in the 80's. This was the REAL DEAL.
The menu was quite expensive. My parents told me that this place was where all the rich people ate at because it served really nice food, and had arrogant waiters (I know right what even). And the food was pretty amazing. Usually at normal chinese restaurants you know what the quality of the food is going to be; some good some bad. But at this one everything was PARTICULARLY amazing. It's hard to describe, but the flavours were just...exactly right.
It's like these tastes are jigsaw pieces that fit exactly in the places on my tongue. PERFECTLY.

The prices in this menu ranged from $50AU upwards. Even for something like a chicken or something...FUAAAAAARK LOL (that's alot of money for our meals that normally costed downards of $15 for EVERYTHING)
The place has been decorated really well. Dad told me all the tables chairs and furnishings were from the 50's. THEY'VE BEEN KEPT REALLY WELL :D and damn sturdy hahaha

We went on a tour of Malaysia with some other HongKongers (through one of those touring companies (because it's cheaper)) on the holidays; THE FIRST WEEK OF 2012 :D Each day had an amazing amount of food which was good. Asian food is always better, seriously. And cheaper (HK$8 = AU$1!! edit: hk food is approximately AU$4 per meal (assuming equivalent serving size)).
Anyway, it was a great experience...mostly eating but I was very relaxing. Learnt that Malaysians are..."lazy" as the tour guide called it. Everything's really chill and relaxing...she told us not to worry if they took a while to do things; it's so hot everyone just wants to have some major siestas. (apparently Spain or something is like this too!) Having the ability of just letting things run their course and not worrying too much seems like a good thing - I'm adopting that ASAP.

When we get there, there are two small basins to wash hands; everyone lines up. We get to the tables.
There's. Cutlery. On. The. Table. No-one used their hands to eat. LOL. Damn tour guide...anyway now TO THE PHOTOS

View from the 5-star hotel lobby. SO DAMN RELAXING and my sister and I splashed around in the pool being kids again just for a bit :) Also the breakfast buffet was quite nice.

Cool story: The head of this village had 4 wives and had 18+ CHILDREN with them (not each of them!), at least 10 with the first one. He's allowed 4 because he's Islamic so it's okay. We all got to meet up with him and drink some sour tea. Anyway this picture depicts the house we were in. THEY MOVED THE ENTIRE BUILDING BECAUSE IT WAS DAMAGED SOMEWHERE ELSE. LIKE. THE WHOLE THING. ON BAMBOO STICKS. major ridic.

The wisdom teeth didn't really become an issue...my parents bought one of those nurofen for children things, because they thought I would be in much more pain than my sister.
I had it for two days. And then it was fine.
IN OTHER NEWS I've written up a list of goals that I want to do by the end of the holidays, and if they don't work out by then, the end of semester 2. I doubt I'll be able to get through much of it, because holidays are for going out, but I'll do my best ^^ I might post some up here, but I don't want to seen to have failed :D
YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS COMEDY SERIES: Whose Line is it Anyway.
It's an improvisational comedy series that was aired AGES ago at the same primetime spot as Friends (which is also a classic sitcom :D WATCH IT) This game in particular is called 'Scenes from a Hat' which is like 'Hotspot' from Good News Week except better =D
The user '12Medbe' uploads a ton of clips...it's quite addictive so GOOD LUCK :D

Uni has been a great experience. I don't know about others, but even assignments and stuff haven't been too bad. Maybe its because its the first semester...this feeling will probably wear off soon =)
I don't have much to say; it's the start of holidays and nothing has been happening! Hopefully I'll have more to blog about in the futureeee. Also contemplating different ways to blog since I've never got the hang of it...

...ie End Of Term Two. The last term 2 ever. How special =P
FIRSTLY: THANKS TO ALL MY GOOD FRIENDS WHO GOT ME PRESENTS <3 It means alot, I realised. Even just a message on facebook =) Presents included 2 SNSD Albums (WOO), a MICROPHONE (:O probably most expensive present and I <3 all the mhs/macrob kids who got it for me =)), NUTELLA (hopefully my mum will let more into the house now XD), cookies and some cologne =PP
I love you all <3
ANYWAY back to the end of term day ^^ It was a pretty chill day. I didn't really expect any teacher to want to teach us anything, and we weren't in the mood anyway. upshot being that it was a slack day ^^
Afters, I went out with the guys and then ditched them (SORRY) to go watch TOY STORY 3 at Chadstone. And let me tell you, it is ONE GOOD MOVIE. This is the sentimental, wants-to-stay-in-touch-with-his-inner-child Vincent (as normal). Seeing all the toys again, all those scenes, just everything really, it was so sad. And the ending is so happy, but it made me cry (oh look, vince is being sensitive (Y)). And now I want those peas! XDIf you haven't seen the peas, don't worry. I'm not spoiling much :) I COULD! but I'm not.
Afterwards was KBBQ! that was very the good. I haven't been much, and it was good food with good company =) I may have made a fool of myself (as always) but it don't matter. I'm like that.
There's probably alot more to say, but I forgot. Hehehe.
Classic Movie Update: watched Donnie Darko, Zoolander...a couple of others. THEY ARE GREAT =)

It has actually been not very boring. First week was full of stuff:
Monday: KARAOKE: was so fun! Sang my heart out, enough people came and I was VERY HAPPY about it. and I saw Mai again! and eddie and mai as a couple DAWW they are awesome for each other. Just thought I should say that =D. Afterwards went home and regretted leaving. Tried to learn Schnapps from Vincent...kind of failed.
Tuesday: LOL JUST A DAY AT HOME. These days are really sweet and relaxing. You so need them. Don't just go out all the time. xD
Wednesday: MUSIC SESH oh gods I love Kento and Alex. No joke. best guys ever. I have to work on singinga nd bassing at the same time though. Its so fun to have guitars backing you up while you sing. Although I was sick, so it was a bit shit. couldn't get up too high, and half screwed up my voice. BUT IT WAS FUN.
Thursday: BADDY AND ROBBO'S SURPRISE PICNIC. 'Nuff said really. badminton is really fun. I miss playing...so busy these days haven't been playing with dad like normal on Sunday. because that really goes for like...4-5 hours LOL. Christine Pho is actually really good =D but compared to Cliffdan Gan...LOL SORRY PHO. Gan rules all =) Robbo was so happy to get his DD-7 ^^ I want to hear him with it SOON~
Friday: Philip Island~ Good trip. Nice day out with the family. Need them more often xD Year 12 really takes out all your time.
Saturday: REST DAY
Sunday/Monday: TURKEY PARTY 4. Not much to say, it was PRETTY AWESOME. I love seeing that crew...its always nice =DD AWAITING TP5
anyway...back to work. alot of work has piled up. gotta do ALOT since the rest days were not as productive as I wanted them to be =)

Holidays have been surprisingly good. I've been very happy, although with the parents around its kind of dampened my spirits. Nagging is bad, but company is good. ^^
Studying moderately hard for Year 12. Its quite hard actually. Going slowly, but I've still got 3 weeks left. Again, year 12 hasn't quite got to me yet. Hopefully it won't. ^^ The stress has started to pile up even but minutely with the Chorals competition. I have to transcribe stuff for that and start practicing conducting etc. LOL busy is me.
I've been doing alot of stuff I won't be able to do when school starts. Got into TF2, L4D and Portal. Portal was finished just today in like...3-4 hours straight? wasn't too hard actually, was expecting more. L4D is becoming addictive. I missed the initial love of it, and I might have to get L4D2 (even if it is a cracked, pirated version ^^) TF2 is just amajjing. The best. :D no wonder its rated 92 on metascore on steam LOL
I need to play more bass. Its so fun flicking through the tabs playing stuff that I know from ages past. My music taste was flavoured initially by what parents listened to (old 50's-60's-70's music surprisingly) which have pretty nice bass lines. ^^ gotta get that band together YES KENTO? ALEX? :DDD
Was in a weird sad mood last night. Don't know why. Thanks to mah bffl, I got through it. I downloaded One Litre of Tears at last, just for next time. ^^ But I'm all better now LOL
Finished watching Big Bang Theory (up to latest). Must wait for Scrubs and HIMYM....I must have them. So but for now, Friends it is again. =DD

yeah yeah yeah? :PP
2010 is coming. This is going to be the biggest year since I was born...I think ^o). VCE is going to be quite stressful. Although I've already done two subjects, I don't think that really adds up to the stress involved when you have 5 subjects to study for! GOSH its going to be stressful. And to see all the year 12's getting their ENTER scores and everything...ARGH! YEAR 12! The actual anxiety hasn't set in yet, but its going to..maybe 2-3 weeks before school. I'm studying, so when it gets really hard, I'll know that I'm fucked. YAYY!
Had a little NYE party...which went surprisingly well. Had lots of fun, might make it regular :DD Piano-playing by Alvin and Phung, pool, poker (which, obviously, the white boy won xD Damn Nick)...Wii (which Arnold and Kevin tank all the time) sleeping at 6am, swordfights, making DELICIOUS jelly...its all good xDD This is probably a bit too public, so all the sordid details will have to be concealed. XD If there were any ;) Glowsticks are funn~
There've been so many people I could thank here. Everyone I've met this year...all the people I spent fun times with...all the people that I've become better friends with...but RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT IN WRITING THIS, I kind of can't be stuffed. All the Year 12's have had their post :P:P I might have to write one up some time...I can't remember everyone/everything so...yeah.
I do want to thank the MHS kids for making it such a great year. I know I don't spend time much with everyone I know, because there's just too many people :P But I know that every time I've been with any group, its been great. Really really good. :) For my really good friends, Tom, Kento, Junou, Alex, Woon, thanks for staying by and keeping me sane :) The company is greatly appreciated. All those asian guys...OGC, DSG/State Crew/T21 Crew, Hungy's group (I'll always think of it like that :P), the breakers, the downball krew...thanks for teaching me how to live different types of lives. It's been amajjing. :DD
To everyone I met outside school, whether from PLC, MGHS, Scotch or just randomnly, thanks. Just thanks. I probably don't see you often, unless you're one of the Dr. He kids, but I really appreciate the fun we had. Karaoke...study, whatever it was, it was great. 2009 was good for meeting people...and I hope I get to meet more this year. It always makes me happy ^^ Spending time with friends as well...its really good to see old friends like Big Vincent...he's such a great guy. And still can put up with me, surprisingly ^^

BOXING DAY SHOPPING TODAY! I did get two T-shirts and two jeans/pants...but I kind of learned about myself and shopping. I want to look better. I know that...LOL and people might say you should be fine with yourself, which I kind of am, but I do think about how other people perceive me, and therefore do want to make a good impression. I'm not a very fashionable person, as people who know me would know. So I do want to look better. But I don't know how. People are like 'just buy whatever looks good.' But I'm always quite indecisive about what I think looks good...sigh. I'd rather go shopping with friends, but meh. ^^
I got fobglasses! You can see the only picture I have of them on facebook :D They're good :) I got them as a spare because we could claim it on insurance ;) how asian we are...xDD And I finally got a webcam...although I don't look too good on it =PP
Christmas dinner was nice. It is always nice. The food is SUPER AMAJJING every single year. But the conversation is....=S Trying to be a good host is hard when people say things that are just very blunt. We host it every year...and well, it gets lol-er every year as I grow up. You just..notice things. ^^ must be all this education stuff they're stuffin us with. xDD

All the bloggers have been not-blogging! This sad affair cannot continue. THIS IS AN APPEAL FOR YOU TO BLOG! :DD
So this week has been a drag. Reharsal after rehearsal after rehearsal after bloody rehearsal. My arm is well and truly fuckéd. It is telling me not to violin any more, or else it will die. Siigh...the things I go through for this school =PP
MY PRIZE! remember that? $80 worth of books, yeah? So when I was at Borders picking, I chose, and as I'm at least good enough at maths for this, 3 books worth just over $80, planning to pay the difference. What does Mr. Crocket say today? 'You probably have around $30 over that you'll have to pay.' WTF I AM 100% SURE THAT IT ADDED UP TO AROUND $80! How gay. Borders, I love you, but not this time. >_____>
All exams are over. School is over. School is bunk. Let the going-out and poorness begin!

That's what I need for the holidays...damn me for not finding one earlier...
I guess a project that is always ongoing for me is to write...I am thinking that I MIGHT join NaNoWriMo...but that's going to be superhard, especially with so many exams in November...
I reckon I could get 50 1k stories in a month...(?) On second thoughts...thats really ambitious. Oh well.
Anyway, my sister has had projects and the like..so she has stuff to entertain her. I've had stuff to watch, but when I get bored and want to actually DO something...I can't. Because I don't really have anything to do. And with this ceebs mentality that you get from hanging around teenage guys...you just don't want to do anything...^^"
I guess I could go play pool or Wii, but I really just can't be stuffed. I know that they're probably the answer to my boredom, but...meh. When you start, you can't really stop. And I need to stop to get through my history, which, for your information, I am going through slowly, but surely.
I toiled over the layout last night for this blog, and fortunately it is working fine! Siigh, tumblr looks better for layout, but I really like the ease of Blogger.
